OPEKA's Directorate of Co-financed and National Programmes, as an Intermediate Body of the "Human Resources and Social Cohesion 2021–2027" Programme, contributes to the implementation of Food and Basic Material Assistance (EVYS), which is co-financed by the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+).
Supporting those in need
EVYS aims to support individuals and households experiencing extreme poverty and material deprivation by providing food and basic material assistance in the form of coupons or vouchers, whether electronic or otherwise.
The support goes beyond meeting basic needs. Through accompanying social inclusion actions, it also promotes the socialisation, empowerment and social reintegration of recipients.
EVYS is also linked to other actions of the "Human Resources and Social Cohesion 2021–2027" Programme, creating synergies for social and labour market inclusion and helping to strengthen social cohesion.
Putting people first, we support basic needs and create more opportunities for social inclusion and participation.
